Buns with Poppy Seeds


I just love buns. Even more than cakes or candies. Make them and  take a coffee break. Or make tea brake. So tasty))))


For the dough:
90 ml of warm milk
250 grams of flour
1 tbsp. dry yeast;
1 egg
30 g butter
1 tbsp sugar
0.5 tsp salt.
Ready mixture – Poppy seeds with sugar
 Simply mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead well, and set to rise for about 2 hours. You can place the dough in the refrigerator overnight for breakfast baking. 
Roll out the dough into a rectangle 60×30 cm
Distribute the filling on the dough, leaving the edges free to 1 cm
Fold the dough in three parts. This way you will get rectangle (about 30×20 cm )
Cut “roll” into strips about 3 cm (12 pcs.)
Each strip twist  3-4 times . Make buns and put them on baking paper on a baking tray.
Bake in preheated oven to 200C  for 15-20 minutes.
You can leave them as they are, crispy outside and soft inside…or…
or you can glaze them – mix together icing sugar and lemon juice and spread on the top.
