As birthdays go, 30, 32, 35, 40 may not be a milestone, but it certainly signifies that life has been lived, experience has been gained, and hopefully some goals have been achieved…I think we’ve only gotten better with the age – we’re strong, centered and forward thinking.
I was not here for almost 1 year and yes, there were changes in my life. I was not sure if I am ready to write again. And then I saw television interview where Whoopie Goldberg described how she got her first one-woman show in New York: Goldberg was performing her nightclub act and (the director) Mike Nichols was in the audience. He came backstage and offered to create a show for her in a Broadway theater. Goldberg said she didn’t know if that was such a good idea. What if she were lousy? Nichols asked if she’d ever been lousy before and Goldberg said “Sure.” His response was, “Then it’s no big deal. You’ll just be lousy on Broadway.”
I have received numerous email from you and would like to thank all of you for your support.
I’ve learned that the most important part of goal setting is not stating the objective. It’s getting started, taking that first (even if it’s small) required step toward achievement. That’s why I am back here again..
I am not writing anymore for Prague Post, because it doesn’t exist anymore…
I hope together we will be able to reach deep down and find the power to pull through our workouts or a tough emotional patches. We will find our own personal super-power and will use it to lift ourselves up and out of any challenge.
